View image metadata in Indesign on MacOSX
Create Automatic byline and caption text
Are you a print-media designer, perhaps on a daily or weekly newspaper? Do you work in Adobe Indesign on MacOSX? IPTCViewer eliminates some annoying tasks from your workday.
Simple: Select an image in Indesign: its metadata is displayed in IPTCViewer's panel.
Save time: Never hunt for a caption or a photographer's name again. The panel displays three IPTC fields of your choice. Additionally, it displays byline and caption text constructed to your needs from one or more arbitrary IPTC fields.
Create bylines automatically: Never fiddle with the placing of byline frames again. IPTCViewer does it for you at the touch of a key.
Advanced options: Sometimes you want Things just so. IPTCViewer does it all: Extract and assemble text from multiple IPTC fields, in whole or in part. Check for garbage data. Search and replace. Add your own text.
Publication settings: Do you work on multiple publications, with different requirements for what bylines should look like? IPTCViewer was written with that in mind.
Multiple image formats: IPTCViewer reads image metadata in JPEG, TIFF, EPS and native Photoshop files.
